The Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Church will be hosting a series entitled “Share the Light”. Held July 23, 24, 25, 28, 30, & 31. The series is being presented by Steven Binus who has had a profound experience in his walk with God... His enthusiasm and fresh communication are energizing and this is a wonderful series to invite young people to as he relates well to them. Vonda Beerman will be doing special music each night and on July 24 will offer a half hour concert starting at 7 p.m. Other nights will start at 7:15 p.m. Location is Springfield Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1630 North 12th Street, Springfield, OR. The Messiah's Mansion, a life-size replica of the ancient Hebrew Tabernacle, is coming to Portland Adventist Academy in Portland, Oregon, Sept. 4-12. Free tours will be held daily from 1 pm to 7 pm. OREGON CONFERENCE PATHFINDER LEADERS CONVENTION 2010
August 13 - 15, 2010 • Gladstone Park Conference Center
Pathfinder Leaders Convention is an annual weekend training event sponsored by the Oregon Conference Pathfinder Department. This year it is being held at the Gladstone Park Conference Center August 13-15, 2010. All adult Pathfinder Staff throughout the conference are encouraged to attend. Pathfinders, grades 9-12, who are participating in the Teen Leadership Training (TLT) program are invited to attend with their club Staff. There are many classes planned throughout the weekend in the areas of Pathfinder Basic Staff Training, Master Guide training, Pathfinder Leadership Award (PLA) training, Pathfinder Instructor’s Award (PIA) training, and Teen Leadership Training (TLT), along with some specialized training classes. Elder Glen Milam, NAD Pathfinder Coordinator, will be our guest speaker. Because this weekend is an intensive training weekend and there is no programming for Junior Pathfinders or younger children, it is encouraged that they do not attend. A fee is charge for attending to help offset the costs of the Convention and the Pre-registration deadline is July 30, 2010.
