    Stan Hudson, director of the Creation Study Center at the North Pacific Union Conference will present historical and archaeological evidence for creation and a worldwide flood.     The Grants Pass Adventist Church will be hosting two free concerts featuring the Fountainview Academy Orchestra and Singers this December. The two performances will be held Sunday, December 9 at  5:00 pm and at 7:30 pm. Sweeping all the way down from British Columbia, Canada, this group of smiling young people is eager to help southwestern Oregon welcome the holiday season! They will inspire you with a dazzling Christmas repertoire of old classics and new, soon-to-be favorites. This internationally-acclaimed youth orchestra has toured Europe, as well as Central and North America. Fountainview concerts regularly broadcast internationally on Three Angels Broadcasting Network. They have recorded performances in national parks and spectacular historical settings overseas. Numerous professional albums and DVD recordings are available for purchase. You will be able to pick up free tickets at any Evergreen Federal Bank location in southern Oregon in early November. Seating is limited and available on a first-come basis.     CRISES INTERVENTION COURSE
    October 28-29, 2018 • Gladstone, Ore.

    Individual Crises Intervention, a 14-hour course hosted by Adventist Community Services and Risk Management, will be taught in Gladstone, Oregon on Sunday and Monday, October 28 and 29. A limited number of spaces are available for this course to prepare participants to understand a wide range of crisis intervention services in time of disaster. This Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) course is open to professionals such as educators, counselors, pastors, fireman, police, etc. Cost: $50. Some CEU from UMBC/Contact Hours available.     Attend Media on the Brain, October 27 at Ohana Christian Fellowship in Canby for a series of messages on the dangers and effects of media and entertainment, especially upon children and family life. Families are encouraged to get back to God's ways for living and breaking free from media addiction. Programing begins at 11:00am with the sermon: "Transformed By the Renewing of Our Minds" Potluck will be Haystacks. At 2:15pm: "Conformed to the Counterfeit Reality" and at 4:30pm the film "Captivated" and a brief message: "How to Escape The Pleasure Trap". Presented by author, speaker, and teacher Scott Ritsema.
