    Euphony will present a medley of Sacred Scripture and Song, including classical music, well-loved hymns and scriptures readings. Guitar, violin, flute and harp. They have chosen beautiful music to play for us. Come experience this concert as we close the Sabbath on October 25, at 4:00 pm at Lents Adventist Church.

    Invite your friends and family to a festive harvest party at Mt. Tabor Seventh-day Adventist Church on Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m. Admission at the door is one can of non-perishable food (per-person). The food donated will go towards Thanksgiving food baskets for those in need. The harvest party will be lots of fun! There will be drinks, snacks and games! Open to all ages, invite your family, friends, and neighbors.     The Memorial Service for Wesley Baker will be this Sabbath, October 18, at 2 PM in the McMinnville SDA Church.  He was blessed with relatively good health for most of his 99 years, still walking without a cane until this year.  He was known and loved by many.  Also worked in the Oregon Conference in the Literature Evangelism Department for some years.  Please let your members know.

He has been recognized internationally for the talent God has given him to weave familiar scriptures with melodies that touch the soul.     CHANGE OF PLANS! Lents IS NOT GOING TO LIVE STREAM AS PREVIOUS STATED. Instead, we are encouraging local ladies to attend the Live Streaming at SUNNYSIDE CHURCH, beginning Friday night at 7:00 pm. LENTS WILL HOST A SLUMBER PARTY Saturday night starting at 8:00 pm. Bring your bedding, jammies, favorite snack and Teddy Bears are always welcome! Breakfast will be served Sunday morning and the last Live Streaming session will be shown at Lents (and also at Sunnyside) starting at 10:30 am. This too is free. Have a wonderful time!!!

    The North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) is seeking applicants to fill the position of General Legal Counsel. The full-time position will be at the NPUC office in Ridgefield, Washington and will be available in January, 2015. Applicants must be licensed and in good standing in the State of Washington or Oregon, and must be willing to secure licensure in the other jurisdiction. Previous experience in the practice of law is preferred. The position will entail being legal counsel for the NPUC and a legal consultant to the local conferences within its territory. The applicant must be willing to focus in the following areas of law: church administration, charitable estate planning, employment law, private school law, church property law, and church-state issues.     Rudy Micelli will be performing in concert at Meadow Glade Adventist Church on Sabbath, October 4, at 7:00 pm. Proceeds will benefit worthy students attending Meadow Glade Adventist Elementary. Last year our partners and friends raised approximately $60,000. A free will offering will be collected to help support this worthy cause–our goal is to more than double our efforts and raise a needed $160,000 for student aide this year! This year we have an anonymous donor who will match our gifts 2 to 1 up to $100,000 dollars! Let's make this happen and keep kids at MGAES for the 2014-2015 school year and beyond!
