Who We Are
The Oregon Conference covers western and central Oregon and a portion of southwest Washington. It provides leadership and resources from its headquarters in Gladstone for over 34,000 members and 140 churches and groups.
The Oregon Conference is part of the North Pacific Union Conference, the Northwest regional headquarters for the work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church throughout the northwestern United States: Alaska, Idaho/Eastern Washington (Upper Columbia), Montana, Oregon and Washington. This includes more than 90,000 members, 400 churches, and 140 elementary and secondary schools.
People of Hope
Seventh-day Adventists are people of hope who are committed to promoting the biblical message of quality of life for the present and the future. In keeping with that principle, Seventh-day Adventists believe the Bible teaches a weekly seventh-day Sabbath day of rest and worship and the promise of Christ's second coming or "Advent." Hence the name, Seventh-day Adventist.
